The offer

Zadruga will make approximately eighteen parcels of roughly 10 acres available to Orthodox families who commit to the life of the community. Each parcel is:

• Owned, not leased — families hold title to their land (structure to be finalized)
• Walkable to the church, school, and commons
• Zoned for real family life — main home plus ADUs (approx. 900 and 1,100 sq ft), with future subdivision possible down to about 2 acres
• Built in the village’s architectural language — affordable log and timber construction under simple, sane design guidelines
• Agricultural — gardens, animals, workshops, and small enterprise welcome

What settling here means

This is a village, not a subdivision. Families who take a parcel are choosing: proximity to the services and the parish’s life, participation in the farm and common work, the school for their children, and neighbors who share the Faith. There will be a community agreement — kept as simple and honest as possible — covering design guidelines, shared infrastructure, and the Orthodox character of the community.

Who we are looking for

Orthodox Christian families (and serious catechumens on the path) who want this life enough to build it — including the years when it is more mud than village. Practical skills are gold: building trades, farming, teaching, medicine, engineering. But the first qualification is the Faith, and the second is staying power.
